So you want to buy a house. First thing’s first - if you’re not buying your house with cash, you’re going to need a real estate agent AND a loan officer. And who you use matters. There are loan officers who are better with jumbo loans. Some who offer options to get your interest rate where you want it to be. There are even some lenders that will start working with you long before you’re even ready to buy to help get your credit where it will need to be so that you can buy. You should never have to find your own lender. I work with a number of hand-selected loan officers, that all have something different to offer, and I will introduce you to the one that fits your specific needs best.

Your Own Custom Home Search

I can’t tell you how many buyers have come to work with me after becoming fed up with the agent they were working with, simply for not listening. This is why it’s of the utmost importance to me to get to know my clients and get a feel for them, their style, and exactly what they’re looking for. You will never catch me try to convince you that you need a smaller/bigger house, or that you need to look outside of the price range you’re comfortable in.

Together, we will come up with a list of “must-haves” and “absolutely-do-not-wants”, as well as a list of “would-be-nices” and “would-prefer-not-to-haves”.

Armed with this information, I will set you up on a custom home search with the strict parameters that we set forth together. This home search is different than the ones you’ll find on the major real estate apps and websites. It’s set up through the MLS, which not only has much more sophisticated search options, but it also sends you alerts immediately whenever a new listing that matches your criteria hits the market, or a house within your search has a price change, etc.

On top of my years of experience in real estate, my background is in negotiation. Before I pursued my passion for helping my neighbors and friends achieve their real estate dreams, I worked in the corporate world, where I negotiated with the largest attorneys in the country to settle millions of dollars worth of bodily injury cases each year. Over the span of more than 8 years, I earned a reputation as a fierce and creative negotiator, who was not afraid to fight in order to protect my clients.

I use that same grit and tenacity every day to benefit my home buyers and sellers. My job is to help you get that house, with the best possible price and terms for you. And the other guys just aren’t ready for us.

There are so many factors to consider when determining what you should offer when you find “the one”.

Where is the market at in this particular moment (i.e. buyer’s market, seller’s market, shifting market, etc.)? Are there other offers on the table? What are other houses selling for in this neighborhood? Are there any improvements happening nearby that may benefit you as a homeowner in this area? How does this house compare to the others that have sold in this area? What is the seller’s motivation? I can go on and on.

Also, did you know that to many sellers, price isn’t the most important factor in an offer?
